TGIF - Ready for the weekend

Whew...what a week. Lot going around here with reviews and site updates. Not to mention my pesky 1:1 job getting in the way :)

But as The General screams TGIF!!! Time for some fun.

Sunday is Mom's day and the greatest gift I can give the #1 Mom around here is???? You guessed it...SILENCE :) I'll be hiding in the Skunkworks working on slot cars and leave her to do whatever she wants :)

Plus a little cooking of course.

More reviews on the way, some older some newer but I feel they all help folks. At least I hope so.

Well I was going to get an early start in the dungeon today, but the Bug Spray guy showed up and now im sitting in the car in the driveway (aircondioning on) just in wifi range waiting till 1pm to get back in.
Could be worse , spiderwebs in my paint jobs are a pain. So this weekend is Saturday builds and Sunday Mothers Day for the ladies who I will treat to a meal. Of course at a nice restaurant, can't afford to make them eat my cooking lol.

Going kayaking on Sunday. Working on my ROAR proxy cars too. I am entering two Strombecker bodies, A Ferrari TR250 and D Type Jag. Both will be riding on Artin chassis with Artin power.

Massive chores coming up. Building a table for a potted garden on the deck, cleaning up the grill for the season, building planters for the yard, some light gunsmithing, and lots of cooking to do.

Busy times ahead. Must do list consists of printing out a small brace to repair the better half's laptop computer and also try out the HRW recipe for the pork roast on the grill for mothers day. The I need to finish modeling out some slot cars for the printer. Going to try something different in trying to print an engine on the chassis with the exhaust marrying up with the exhaust on the body, hopefully it will work out. Also need to mow the lawn since we received some weird stuff from the sky yesterday and today. I think it was called rain but I'm not sure for its been a long time since anyone out here has seen rain.

My daughter who's wedding I performed on April 25th called and said hey dad we'll be over for Mother's Day and you will be on the grill. Don't you just love daughters!! Shipped off my Forums Cup cars tonight. Shipped off the Modern Bombers on Wednesday. I still have to ship out the Pony Car Wars cars next week if not tomorrow. HRW Nascar proxy car arrived back home today. Lawnmower will not keep running. Stopped and got a fuel and air filter at Lowes tonight. Hope that cures the problem. I changed the oil and oil filter this afternoon and it would still die after about 8 minutes. So grass tomorrow clean the house for about 8 guest for Mothers Day. Straighten up my race table after a month of building proxy cars. That may wait until next week with all the Mothers Day stuff I have to get done. Prepare to teach the Sunday School lesson for this Sunday. Um what else???????

Still waiting for the A/C guy who was supposed to have been here Friday, he didn't make it. Hope to hear from him today, maybe. I've been hot so long I'm starting to get used to it. Still waiting to hear something from Fiat about my car. It's not good when there is water in the wiring harnesses. I figure the car was in some deep water, but they never told me about. Almost a year later and water is still in the wiring? All I know is I didn't do it. Somebody got some 'splainin' to do. :)

British auto-electrics have always been a bit of a joke, but in my experience, FIATs have never been that brilliant either.
