The 1/43 scale and proxy races are fun.I've been involved in a few of the drag races..Nothing but fun.While I'm not a great racer as most here can justify,the little drag races we did,well,were fun for all..
Some have to have the head to head competition,some have to go around in circles,some would rather build,some have to be first,and then some of us just like seeing the cars run.Straight,oval,road course.It's all about the fun.Lets not loose that.. ;)

Ive also hosted proxies.....drag 1/4 mile proxy. 1/43 dirt series proxy. There was another I believe...think there were a bunch of tracks involved.
Pics....have to dig from years back. Had a koford drag motor in it.
Whiteside shut his track down, but his old site still up if u would like to see some custom 1/43 drag car builds.
If we all lived close, im sure we'd have a 1/43 local club with a bunch of tracks. Unfortunately, we are a small group, scattered out. Proxies is our best option.

Well, hope when some proxy races come up, you decide to build one.....competition will be fun :D

The dearth of Artin products and Target's abandonment of SCX Compact have eliminated a big draw for 1/43...inexpensive cars and track. I still run my 1/43 at home but coming commercial race track venture is nudging me to 1/32 and 1/25 building jags.

I am still here & I don't plan on quitting the 43 scale , in fact I have lots of ideas that I want/will test as soon as I got free time to do it

Right now I am busy with all the summer stuff to do around the house also have a few things that the house need to be fix etc...
But when I got some free time (and not to tired) I work a bit on my project , cars & track...

As soon as I am ready I'll post some pics (make a thread) but I doubt I'll have the time for another month at least
