Custom Scalextric for a daughter with a broken heart

Postby Valvarez » Mon Jun 08, 2015 4:29 pm

My daughter (7) lost her security "blanket" recently – not technically a blanket, but a square of soft fabric with a plush duck head in the middle. So, I cheered her up by modifying this Scalextric Jag with a red-headed driver and a little duck for a co-pilot. It may not be the kind of thing you typically find in these forums, but I had fun doing it - it was super easy - and she was delighted. Anything to keep her interested in Dad's favorite hobby. (The pic is a little big. Sorry. You should be able to scroll it and see the whole thing.)

I'm such a sucker for little girls. My heart melts the second I meet them. Nice going, Dad.

Good Job Dad. That should get you a few extra brownie points and maybe even some race time with your daughter.
