Thanks all! I sure didn't think this car would be that popular! It would be great if Carrera offered a car like this, but I am sure it costs a bunch of money to tool up for a new body. The Ford versus Chevy battle has always been a fun one to me, it just makes sense to have another vehicle make to race against. As much as I love the 57 Chevy, there is only so many you can have on the track at one time in my opinion, hence the purpose of this build. Once I toss in a couple of variations of the Petty Plymouths, I should have a great little series of late 50's stockers to race.

Wow this is a cool project and yes you did get my attention.
I've been considering a companion car for the Chevy for a while now. I do appreciate the suggestion for this, we are considering all options at this point for 2016.
Some decisions have been made and I am sure that what has been already set for next year will be quite well received.

Dave, It would be great if Carrera built this car (a 57 Ford of any color scheme) and it does make for some racing fun! my son in law is a hard core Ford fanatic, so we will be having some battles I am sure. It would seem a Ford vs Chevy stock car race set would be popular as well.
