Don't forget to show the way the Tamiya red gel flattens out when dry. I have compared it to the Testors "tail light red", and "marker lamp amber" and found that a metallic silver with the Tamiya you used on top makes a very reflective lamp. If you like, I have a few in process that can suffice.

The real 2J was all about finding additional down force beyond the pull of gravity. I watched it race at Riverside on TV and recall it was slow and got passed by the fastest cars on the straights. But with those fans sucking the air out from underneath the car it flew through the curves like it was on rails. This car would look authentic with magnets pulling it down to the track and not slipping and sliding through the curves.
