New Slot.it Shapeways offerings

I'm curious if anyone has actually jumped on the Shapeways bandwagon.
It would be nice if Slot It offered a "finishing kit" that had all of the recommended bits and pieces required to build the car. Buying the individual parts looks to be awfully expensive. White kits would be a possibility, but few of the lesser expensive white kits have the recommended 1.0 offset pod and the correct size wheels.

I just ordered some of the chassis for the fly cars.
I love the cars , but if I can make them perform better ,, then its a win win for me.
between D3D and Slot it , there should be lots of parts available.

CG still has to assemble the kits from separate parts. A package from Slot It containing their products should be cheaper. I have no problems with an orange motor and C1 tires.

I have 3 of the chassis for the Carrera DTM cars. The chassis work fine and fit the bodies and the slot-it pods very well..... The ones I have are unpolished but look ok. They really make the performance of the Carrera cars much better than the stock chassis. A few of the guys in the group I run with have gotten the chassis for the Fly Can-Am cars and for the most part they have had little problems with them.

I am looking forward to more of the 3D chassis for the Carrera cars, and other makes that have a poor record performance wise compared to the slot-it cars which is the gold standard for most of the slot cars we like to run.

They already do, From Professor Motor you can get Sidewinder or anglewinder pod kits that include the pod, bushings and the correct matched gears. I just put on in one of my cars and the gears mesh is perfect.

CG doesn't sell the universal chassis separately? I couldn't find a price for just the chassis.
