Life is good part 2

Postby cantstopnow » Wed Sep 16, 2015 11:18 pm

So hey guys. I have my school retraining approved by the state. I will be going for cnc machinest and programer. It was not easy getting my weight limit from light duty to light-medium but I did. I needed it to get this training. I also found out that my old employer told the state that I was hired for part time. Now I know why I was getting such a low payment. Funny it took that long for them to get me that information, but I was able to prove I was working full time with my pay stubs. Man was that a nice back pay check!!! Also that raises my monthly pay s that will make school a lot easier to do. My track is up and almost running but that is for another thread. Anyway shotgun wanted pics for proof. Thought I would share some good news! :banana-dance: :music-rockout: :music-rockout:

Congratulations!

I always like to hear when the good guy wins.

Now, get the CNC training done and maybe you can launch a side career making 3D partz?

That sounds great. Where I work they gave me a HAAS operators manual and said here, program the two CNC's. They did send me to a HAAS programing class for a couple of days and its been easy ever since. I've made some macro programs for boring holes, threading, just to name a few that makes it a lot easier for programing. Good luck and enjoy, and look at all of the slot car fixtures that you can program for and make on the CNC.

Got a call from my vocational counselor this morning. She wanted to know if I would start retraing today instead of waiting till winter quarter. Oh %*€& yea I would. I had to take afternoon classes but that is fine with me. This was real good news as it save me three months of waiting. Woo Hoo
