Going out for a while

Going to take out The General for a well deserved treat.

First a nice dinner. Have coupons for Taco Bell, will be almost free!

Then Wal-Mart and Lowe's. Need a shop light or two. And with the money saved at dinner, I can do a parts order when I get home.

I know, I know...this is great of me to do, but it's about her tonite. Once in awhile you do special things...that's how I roll.

Went to a steakhouse called Coltons. I forgot we had a gift card for it :)

VERY good for a place like that. I'm full as a dog tick and ready to finish projects.

It's nice to take your wife out for lunch or dinner. We go to our favorite Mexican restuarant every Saturday, and sometimes on Sunday too. The wife likes their margaritas, and I'm fond of the Victoria beer. The food is always good, and so is the conversation. Nothing wrong with coupons or gift cards. You go Harry. ;)

I almost choked on my coffee when I read this this morning. Too funny, and I just knew Harry was classier than a Taco Bell...I was thinking a Wendys. Afterall, what is a hamburger other than ground steak? Wasn't that an A1 commercial at one time...?

Glad to hear you went to a much higher level of establishment - The General should always deserve top-flight places!

I took my lovely bride out last night as well. We celebrated the 24th year that my wife hasn't wised up and left me. We went to a great little Italian restaurant in our town and had a very nice dinner. It is locally owned, and for our anniversary they gave us a huge slice of chocolate cake and an anniversary card. Yep, I'll keep going back!

Congrats David! My bride and I are headed for our 30th next month, and she hasn't left me yet, so you're good to go. That Harry is nothing if not a class act. Taco Bell indeed. :shock:

I will have to try that bit with 'save money on dinner, spend at Slot Car Corner'. Do you think they too (SCC) has a special offer for that?
