Strangebrew Motorsports 1/32 Late Model Project

So our own Strangebrew has devised a cool series. He is making the bodies and chassis for us from resin and our challenge is to tune them up and race them when we get together.



For some reason, this car is VERY ATTRACTIVE to me :)



I still need some inserts for the wheels, but could not resist running it.





So far it's a blast. Need some fine tuning, but I had it hauling the mail last night.

I am thinking once we help fine tune the chassis that he might offer a few up. He doesn't really do this to sell any, just for fun and seeing folks build.

Harry, I didn't tune it at all. I have a lot to learn in that department....The tires need glue & true & I really didn't set
the body height either......I left that part up to you......I was curious to see if something like this has potential.
Remember this is just a "prototype". I just about have the next version of the chassis ready for a mold box.
It will have a motor pod that is adjustable 1/4" side to side, & I'm losing the Adjusta-bearings in favor of round oilites.
It will also have three different front axle positions. My thought was that being resin it could easily be cut down to fit
a number of different car types........

Nice work Brew. You are a wizard with resin. I wish I had the talent to craft like you do. I hope to have the opportunity to try one out if you can make it over on the 26th. for the fun run.

That's friggin awesome! Dirt oval burns really deep in my blood, I recently purchased a Carrera set. I'm thinking about keeping it, to get my road course fix, and going to home depot for some oval material this summer. Harry, you did an outstanding job on your new track, it has re kindled the fire to go ahead and build my first wood track. I'm pretty sure its going to need to be 4x16 though if I keep some kind of little road course.

Looks like your track has super grip.
These are just my 1st try. As I said I've got another chassis ready to go with the changes I want to make....
I'm waiting for feedback from the "experts" on what else needs changing.
I don't know about selling them.....I feel like I'm taking advantage of you guys on the forum by doing that.
I'm just trying to promote slots & oval racing in particular.
Maybe if I get the bugs worked out & I have a product worth distributing something could be worked
out to just cover costs. I also have no problem with people copying & improving.
