I have been visiting HRW for about a year now and it has been very enjoyable
you guy's have got me into the brass chassis side of things which I am very clad for
I am a hard core classic American car fan so there is lots of builds here that are of great interest to me

HRW is my favorite forum by far
lots of info and lots of talented slot car builders willing to share what they know
for me that's what it is all about

I will be posting some builds in the new thread
through out 2017

Looking forward to 2017; although building will be less for me next year (17 proxy cars built in 2016) and more focused on the kind of cars that I like; I.e., pre-70's GT's and Prototypes.

Nice post Harry, I have been a member since the beginning (remember the old Artin wars with the other site LOL) but not that active for quite a while but I am in the process of setting up a new table with my Artin track.
I hope to post a picture of the track and a few cars here in the near future (table is done).

This is a very different space from all the other slot car sites, and, thankfully, most of the internet. Harry, you are a man of patience, wisdom, and tolerance. Your selfless generosity and good will has given this site a personality that allows it to stand out. As a result, you have attracted the the most creative and supportive slotsters from around the world and especially the US. Scratch building was the foundation of the hobby when we oldsters started. The level of current builds and support for new builders is unmatched. Thanks for all you do. I wish everyone a very good New Year!

Happy New Year folks. I don't share the optimism for 2017 at all, but I'm going to do the best I can for all of us in the coming year. The main thing is that we all concentrate on preserving the most precious elements of our lives as the coming era unfolds, and HRW is one of the tops of my list. Nothing that comes can be allowed to mess HRW up. Keep the good stuff!

I would like to chime in with my appreciation for Harry and this site. It is a breath of fresh air whenever I come here. I like the easy going atmosphere. I do visit a couple of the other sites for their higher traffic level on the digital slot car topic but I consider HRW as home. Thanks Harry!

Thanks Harry for giving us a place to unload our pictures and thoughts. Hopefully for me 2017 will turn out better than 2016 but time will tell. Now its time to get back to the Slot cars.

Hi Guys, I agree with all that has been said above, this is THE PLACE to get you fix and I really mean FIX as this hobby is so addictive as you all know.

I can't really think of anything else to say as you have all said it and it feels like it those comments have really come from a good place.
