Dodge 330 into the body shop!

Had an Autoworld Dodge 330 chrome body that gotten a bit scratched up in handling and decided it was time for a change... :)




The crew went to work, pulling the bumpers and glass, prepping the body for the "DIP" (household ammonia)




After 10 minute soak in a covered juice glass, followed by a soap and water wash, the crew has a fresh pallet!




Now the question becomes, detail out the white, or bath her in color.... :)

The white looks really glossy! Did the chrome trim stay on around the windows? That is cool!

Yes, believe it or not - the window frames and grill were painted silver on top of the chrome - and the ammonia didn't effect the painted areas. :)
The crew liked the "white look" as well! Pics to follow!

Here she is "reassembled" in white with the headlights, door handles and trunk emblem touched up with one of the Malatow "liquid chrome" 1mm markers.

Where can you buy those Matalow chrome markers? Looks like they do a good job.
