Thanks for the great comments. I've been told by the Track Manager that I'm done building for the night. So here we are: Turn 9 has some banking in it at the end of the straight and I'm beginning to play with elevation changes - about 5" in Turn 6 thus far. I also managed to get the table cut the way I wanted - used the router for that. Easier than the jigsaw.

With your previous track building experience that when it is done will bring back old experience of the real one. The straight look like could also use as a drag strip :auto-layrubber: The eases have a good flow too. And do I see an A frame Eldon building in its future?

After cutting all of the elevation changes, I moved everything to the basement yesterday and after getting the legs tomorrow will begin assembling the tables.

Glad to see someone bring back a great old track. I have a map showing the elevations of the track. You can find it on line. The turn at the start of the back straight is the high spot of the track. Hope it is ready for the last Trans Am race this year.

Elevation work commenced last night and I think I've got it pretty close to what I was looking for. Lots of off-camber banking and a nice "bump in the straight.

I'll probably not get much done for a few days as it is #1 daughter's birthday and we have plans.

...doesn't mean I won't sneak down and make motor sounds while pushing a car around though...
