Put the last little touches on this one this morning. I am happy with it, and its a far cry from what it started life as! Totally raceable car has enough detail to look presentable, but not so much I have to be careful racing it. Great car in my book! what you all think? worth doing or not?.

That racer looks good enough for you to do exactly what you wanted to do - race it against the Cooper.
Jim Clark would have loved that deep metallic green paint, for sure!
Good job. Many HO guys also do the same thing with toys they just can't resist making a racer.

Great job, and well worth doing. Lots of bodies are described as "toy like" but that doesn't mean they can't be cheap conversions. A little detail goes a very long way.

This is a nice car and raceable!
