I think printed wheels would be fine, but they most likely should be designed with the the outside rim slightly oversized so that you could chuck them in a lathe and turn them down to to size and for balance, but I imagine they might be too fragile for that??

Strictly experimental, are these Libres. In theory the tolerances and concentricity (is that a word?) should be up there with mil-spec, certainly better than an injection molded piece. WSF would not machine well, I don't think. Kind of an odd consistency. If they work out of the box, super! If not no great loss. Failure is fun!

Personally I think R-D wheels and Peter's inserts are a great way to go. Hope to try some soon.
Busy here too. ASCW is in Sonic-Boom mode, and we both volunteer with the Collier Automotive Museum (Vintage Race this weekend in Palm Beach) and the Cap'n has several projects working with various business partners.
