Rules/ Schedule: Vintage Small-Bore T/A Proxy Series 2013

The number of races is to be determined at this point. We have two scheduled, and one other so far who have stated a willingness to host: Peter and Tsooko (Please correct me if things have changed)
I was trying to figure a way to give you the option to enter single races if you'd like. If one does not wish to enter the series, It stands to reason one would not be eligible to compete in a series one is not entered into..

Peter mentions having the ability to have your car sent home between races if you pay the freight. That seems reasonable, and if you miss a race, you won't be DQd from the series.

So how about this. Enter the series, have your car returned between races if desired, and skip an event or two if you want. You'll be eligible for overall standings and the concours. Just a thought. I don't think in this case, though, it would be fair to be able to change cars mid-series.

One reason for the boxing all the cars up and sending to the next event is consideration for the hosts. After hosting an event, shipping to the next venue should be kept as simple as possible to keep things moving.

I think with the time constraints, your idea seems the best viable solution. There is roughly only two months for me to get a car ready from scratch. Anybody have any bodies ready?

I thought that i already posted that i could host the 2nd race on June 15?

Yes, although I have not hosted a proxy before, I should be ok to follow Peter if needed. I have a Carrera GO layout of about 45' with Carrera timing.

Dang!!!
My back is still giving me fits. I have hardly been able to get out of the apt. for groceries and mail never mind working on the track. I have been getting some resin casting done though.
You should see if Roland will host a sector after Lloyd. He's in Germany and that will fit in with the European section. It will use up another month also. Then if the cars are coming back across the pond it would be in September for me or Oct, if Mas will host a race and I am pretty sure I can get the track done by then.
A late September or early October time would work for me.
It is hard for me to give you guys a firm commitment right now but 6 months is a long time.

If others want to put on a sector after Peter, I would be happy to put on my section later. I am fairly free this year so can fit in with whatever suits everyone else.

Roland, Peter's race is 15 June in Austria. Lloyd is tentatively set for July, but I imagine he would be willing to reschedule if we can have another date in Europe.

It would certainly make sense for the cars to go to Roland's after Peter and then on to me. I could just as easily run it in August as in July.

If that worked for Roland of course!

Is Catronic only available in Germany?
Or is your track a vintage track?
