Your favorite slot car magazine from the "golden age"?

Bought a lot of slot car magazines from ebay about 15 years ago (Model Car and Track, Model Car Science, and Car Model) before the prices started going up, I still enjoy looking at them.
A nice surprise was finding a few I remembered having when I was a kid.

Car Model was my go to. I used to take the bus downtown to get it. They had others every now and then. They always had Car Model.

Guys, I am sure you are aware of the importance you all have had for us who remember those wonderful days at the beginning of slot car wonderfulness in the early 1960s. That aside, I am inspired to mention how important your role was, to the new renaissance of slot car stuff today. Those magazines, as well as those who created the articles in them, are the tenuous grasp of history that made the hobby survive to this day. Good for us, the faithful, as it were, who kept the dream alive. Allright, I know that's more prosaic than necessary, but the truth is, guys like Harry who keeps this thing going largely at his own expense, had a foundation on which to base the slot car society that exists today. I am very proud to be among your number.
