Top Qualifier Report/Latest Favorite

A few people have asked what is the current "King" of your own home track?

I thought it might be fun to hear from other "lone wolf" racers as well as groups, what is the slot car that is currently leading the pack.

So if you could:

1. Post a photo of that car.
2. Share the current lap time.
3. Share your tuning approach.

If you do not have timing yet, I still think you should chime in. Tell/show us what car is your current favorite. The one you seem to choose the most just because it's fun :)

Current Lap Time 20 Laps 56.85 secs Fast Lap 2.62 a new Fast Lap. The fast lap has since been matched by my 2018 TransAm #89Cuda. 20 lap time by my #42 Cuda is the second fastest of all cars at 57.02 secs.

Body Chassis Racers Wheels Racer Front Tires NSR Zero Grip Rear Tires NSR Super Grip
Pod Anglewinder Slot.it Flat 6RS 24,000 11 / 28 2.55

The car ran in the 2017-2018 Group 5 Proxy. It finished 19th out of 21 cars. Observations from track host: to much motor or not geared to handle it.

I've been buying a fair number of cars lately, but these 2 are at the top:
A Slot It RAW Audi R8C, painted by my friend Ron, and tuned according to another friend Alwyn (Superslab). The tuning in this case was just a little weight behind the front wheels, truing/gluing urethane tires, and gluing of the conical bearings. Alwyn has the lap record on my track of 7.221 seconds...totally inhuman! I get 8.3...sigh.

Racer Sideways BMW 320...other than trued urethane tires, stock...I got an 8.2 with this one...it's like it's on rails!!!
