First one went so smooth, I decided to push on and get another built. Might even get all three lanes full tonight! This one I kind of played with. I painted it red like the red rebel kit, but used the decals from the yellow T-bone car, I think it still has that box art charm I was going for. Same chassis config. as the other one, but changed up the push bars a bit to give this one some mass. the kit shape nerfs were to small to me. anyhow, for your viewing pleasure! here are some just finished pics. tuning begins now!
They are a blast, aren't they? I was amazed that HRW people didn't jump on them years ago when I did the double kit from that picture I posted on the other post, years ago. All things in their time, I guess.
Hey, did you leave off the wire covers on the Nailhead because you are going to do several versions? Its my favorite of the old engines precisely because you can do just about anything to it with just bolt-ons and adjustments. There are actually thousands of ways you can model that motor. The old hot rod magazines are full of them. Can't wait to see what you do.
