It's just cool, man.
May have to be another 1/32 slot that I buy just to put on the shelf.
Come to think of it, I have Kowalski's 1/18 die cast sitting along side McQueen's Mustang and the bad guy's Charger die casts.
And I don't usually buy die cast... Man, these big cars take up so much more room than my HO stuff!

I'm trying to source a couple 1:32 scale bulldozers for the ultimate in movie crash 'n' bash fun using a plain white Camaro, some lighter fuel and a well timed spark.

Finding out they smashed a Camaro for effect kinda takes a lot away from the memory of the movie. Funny, it didn't bother me when I counted 5, maybe 6 hubcaps coming off the black Charger in Bullit, not to mention finding out they trashed 3 Chargers trying to get it right before giving up and cutting film together for the big crash.

BTW, the car is now sold out from our warehouse. So all the inventory is now in dealers hand's in the US.

Don't know if they are still there but at one point a few years back there were Challengers from both versions of the movie at Floyd Garrett's Muscle Car Museum in Sevierville Tennessee.

Something comforting in that. Those of us who saw the original movie in theaters (when it was very controversial), can feel good that one of our "rebellion movies" is remembered. I hope its popular enough that Scaley makes a second run that is even bigger.

While they are at it, my favorite of that car was fire engine red with a black vinyl roof. And the very popular dark green metallic would be good. If I get some change together, I may do one in red, one in green, and one in plum crazy.
