Question about Motor in Scalex Ferrari 412P

Hi,
I have been looking for the motor specs of this car.
Is this using the FF motor or the F130? And in which configuration (SW or IL) in case of the F130?
Also, the rims are going to be standards so that they can take slot.it/nsr tyres?

Good question - did they go to the trouble of making a new mould or use the existing one?
I am guessing they used the exisiting one can't see them making a new mould - in which case it will be sidewinder FC130
as for the wheels I imagine it will be the same story - don't think there would be any slot.it/NSR tyres that would fit anyway they are a unique set :)

I asked Tony K to check for me, and it's a sidewinder (same as the 330P was) with the FC motor.

Yes, the wheels/tires are unique. There are good aftermarket tires though.

First of all, I didn't know that there was an existing mold for this car...I should have checked.
I have on order both the ferrari and the GT40 - I ordered them even before checking this.
Goot that they have both the same motor and configurations.
My plan is to make a digital ferrari-vs.-ford class using these two models only.
First I will check myself how they go and then propose to the rest of the boys.

G, the new Mk1 GT40's have the digital window in the chassis but unsure if Scaley have done the same with the latest Ferraris.

the DPR hatch is not a big problem: if it is there in the ferrari, better.
Otherwise, we have enough experience in chipping cars using the Slot.it chips so it should not be a problem.
If they have put a DPR hatch in the GT40 MK1 then there is enough space for the slot.it chip even if the hatch is not there.

Just received the Scalex Ferrari 412P. The chassis does not have a door for the digital chip. It is stamped Ferrari P4. It does have the sidewinder motor configuration. Rear wheels measure 9.5mm wide, rib is 3.5mm and tires are approx. 21.3mm tall. I never know how to get a good measurement on tires.

So that was a very easy new model for Scaley to produce.

They have had a 412P before, it was white with blue stripes.

The Ferrari 412P was sold to private race teams and was an upgraded version of the Ferrari 330P3. The factory Ferrari team used the latest and greatest 330P4. They all looked similar except some minor detail differences.
