Anyway, the Porsche was a Ninco, which had that rather hideous bottom half/top half chassis and body combo , which not only looked horrible, but, was never the hot tip for a good handling/smooth car............so,...the lower body bits (attached to the chassis) were cut away, and, glued to the top portion of the body. where they belonged.
The first pic. is the bottom shot of the finished car......looks almost factory. ;)
The glued body was stripped, primed, and sprayed with Tamiya silver leaf, with Tamiya semi gloss clearcoat. Wheels and inserts are BWA/Dart, Dart drivers head, and, some detail bits and decals from the parts bin.
These pics. were taken after the proxy, and while the little fella came back fairly well unscathed, their were a few little scrapes (expected) here and there.
