What´s on your workbench right now?

Finally found some time to spend it in the slotcave. The Cuda is already running, now only waiting for a paint job. Yellow with black stripes or black with yellow stripes? Or red?

The 787´s are nearly finished, only some fine tuning to be done ...

The Mini for the U2 proxy is a different story. Broke the right front axle holder, tried to glue it back on, but the wheelbase is off now, also the ride height is wrong. Ripped it off, but again, no luck. Finally ordered the V3 of the chassis, hope to get it in time to finish it. But at least all other parts are here, even the wheel inserts fit inside the custom RD wheels. The FireBox motor already had its motor axle shortened to move the motor nearer to the rear axle, should work better for handling. Gearing will be 9/22, this should equal out the small diameter wheels :)
Now only the chassis and the tires from CarGo to arrive ...
Really looking forward to finish off this small racing car :D

Here are the jobs currently on my kitchen table as it's too cold to work in the shed at the moment:


Falcon and Ford Escort Mk1.



Escort chassis.



Falcon chassis.



Volvo Amazon chassis, shown with the diecast body as the resin body is not ready yet.



Cortina chassis.



Sunbeam Imp chassis. This shell is a result of my radio falling on it, the finished one will have a roof!



And finally, a resin 911 with a Tecno slot chassis.



As can be seen, there is an awful lot of work still to do as soon as I can get back in the shed!

Hey Lloyd, don´t tell anyone, but on the escort chassis you have the pinion on one side and the spur gear on the other side ;)
nice list of projects!
If you need small rims (like the size needed on a Heller kit Mini), i think Steve has some on request or i could send him the dimensions again. CarGo in Germany already casted the Marchon Jeep tires that will fit those wheels for me and has the molds ready. If you want, i can send you the dimensions of the wheels, too. or simply post them.

Hi RM, I moulded it from a Trofeu. As it is slush cast, the wheel arches needed careful cleaning out inside with a Dremel.

I'm in a slow period right now.
I have a Lotus Elite that the decals have been giving me fits, just started a scratch chassis for a Porsche 356', plenty of porsche 956's in the wings. I think I'm just itching to get outdoors.
Coaching my daughter's soccer team starts Saturday. That might do the trick.
