You've done a beautiful job on the SAAB Marc, that colour looks so right. Being tall and narrow I wish you luck in getting it to handle!

speaking of painting - i had to apply 6 layer of the waterbased acryl Revell paint to cover the blue from the heller kit of the Mini - i really hate that!
And to cover the red with the white double stripe - again with the water based revell paint - not to mix the color as there can happen BAD things - it also took 5 layers! after the spray paint debacle on the cuda, i wanted to use a brush again, but it also did not work like i guessed it should. The only alternative paint wise in small units is tamyia - i will try that one next i guess. And no, i don´t want to try airbrush.

Peter, I tried Tamiya spray paint for the first time with the green Lola and Cortina, both over white primer. It really covers well and is so easy to use.

I recently used a car spray paint on the Peugeot 206 and was again very happy with the result. As long as the car is well primered there should be no problem.

what primer are you using?

Plastic primer if it is a plastic body, but car primer is good on resin bodies.
