been workin on a porsche 916 gt. this is the car with the vibrating chassis. got that fixed so i can get on with the rest of it. went plastic on the chassis this time and very happy with it, so much in fact i put in silicone for future use. i used the diecast to build the chassis so i could be sure nothing moved when i didnt want it to or just shatter in my hand while i am torqueing on it :angry-cussingblack: ( yeah that sucked). its still got a lil putty on it and some pencil markings for decal locations but she is almost ready for paint. i turned the rims and the rear axle bushings. the inserts are my casts. the tires are copies of the tires that were on a pink pig and they are huge. almost no room for gears. brass tube is now installed for the front axle, it also acts as a brace for the guide assembly. printed off the decals and waiting for the clear to dry. the wing, well havent made up my mind on that just yet on which one to use. i have a shorter mustangish wing that looks good too. never built a car that corners like this one does, those big tires stick. i am used to the skinnier tire t/a cars that drift. so this one has been a lot of fun. by the way this is the third body ive cast for this project, even tho it sticks like glue, it deslots with a vengance, and its 4 1/2 feet to the concrete floor  have more pics here in a couple of days as i get it finished
