TransAm proxy race - class U2 - UK race.

I gave the cars a run out on my Little Snett track today, a Carrera GO track about 50' in length with 2 straights, 1 about 11 1/2' and the other about 9', the rest of the track being very twisty.

They all ran nice and smoothly, including Marc's SAAB 96 that needed a little ca to fix the crown wheel in place. They will all get a little more running before the races take place nearer the end of July in order for me to get used to their handling on this track.

That's my excuse, the real reason is that I just like handling these fine little models!

Lol Marc, good ole Carrera GO! My other tracks are wood though.

And, because of the light, the greenest grass shows up as brown!

for the pics - check the "white balance" setting on your camera.

I cannot believe how tiring running a stage of a proxy could be!

On a glorious hot and sunny day I was joined by Martin Field and his son Bazz who kindly drove 50 miles to help with this stage of the 2013 1/43 TransAm U2 proxy.

I will work out the final results and post them along with Bazz's photos sometime tomorrow.
