hey guys
made a little progress. got 1 of the 3 sections taped. Yes Peter I do have a tape tool, however crude but works great, made from .100 styrene. also found a laminate roller at an estate sale. started in with some hydrocal

ok. . . the nightly update. did some old fashioned paper mache to cover the large sections in prep for the hydrocal. I was starting to lose daylight so the pics are kinda dark. the garage isn't very bright at that end

Paper mache' is very underrated! Good to see you using it! It's light, and can be very strong. And that Mini is wild! :dance:

hey guys
a small update. more paper mache, the first layer wasn't rigid enough on the long section so I added another. the shorter section is now done and drying so I can start in with some color (David :lol: ) and I got some of the sandy areas about done. Peter I don't know what the hell I was thinkin with this mini. I am going to go blind this thing is omg tiny, but its coming along. I will start a new thread for it. speaking of small cars. Marc where can I get some of those awesome inserts for the 510's you sent me?
