Mine faded on me one day, fortunately there was an escape road on that 90 degree bend. Very glad for that gravel driveway. I didn't believe all the stories I read about the brakes, but found they were true. No indication of any problems until the next time you need them, then there is nothing.

Speaking of the steering column? Yes, you should be aware of the dangers. Now the horn button? Kurt can give some more details there.

Jeez, Matt -- did your heart rate go up a bit? I had brakes fade to nothing in my first Mini (at 60 mph). Oddly enough, the car stopped being fun right then and there. :lol:

Super car! I you live in or visit Naples, FL, you trip over exotics. Even a few XK 120, 140, 150's.

Wow. What car made me smile the most? That could have two answers. The car that made me
smile the most also made me work the hardest to drive it. The Genie Ford. It gave me the biggest
thrill, scared me the most, and after a ten lap stint I was soaked with sweat. The car that gave
me the most fun with the least amount of expense and mechanical work, ( are you ready for this?)
the Mustang. What a great track day car! It never broke. I just drove it to the track, payed my entry,
beat the hell out of it, and drove it home. The thing is, pretty much every car I have or have owned
made me smile a lot. Or I wouldn't have bought it.
