That is a pretty sweet looking layout and I like the fold flat against the wall set up! Pretty slick!

And clean work, as always!
I did not fill all the nail holes when i routed my track, just put the color over it. not one did show up again.
i really know about the hose of the vacuum cleaner getting in the way while routing! Most important thing always to look in front when you´re routing that the hose will have place to move around. pretty the same assembly with a flexible cord was the result :lol:
you really left the car in the garage while routing? did that once, a very nice and fine layer of MDF was the result even when using the vacuum all the time! wife was not amused! did you leave your car or her car in the garage while routing?
what will stop the cars from hitting the concrete when deslotting?

It's been a while since I've touched base with you . Retired now , still slot car rac'n plus building a 1=1 hot rod for my route 66 bucket list trip .

I still lurk the 1/43rd board from time to time to see what some of your are up to . Your builds amaze me and your workmanship is outstanding .

I like the track your building in your garage . I remember what fun I had a few years back when we raced on your oval . I'm ashamed that I haven't finished mine . Now that I have more time I hope to get back on it soon .

Oh yeah , I remember I still have that ARTIN car (never raced) for our run off . Remember that ?

Hi Tom ,

I retired in Jan 2013 .

Still running my T-Jets and drag racing 1/24th scale .

I check in here once a week or more and sneak back out reeeaaallllll quiet like .

Your track looks great .

That old hot rod truck is all over the garage . I'm ready to drop my modified Chevy inline 6 in it now . Then I'm stubbing the rear of the frame for coil overs . Com'n along slow but sure .

We are going down to Fl sometime after the Holidays .
