Decided to convert the front guide. It is an added expense, but not a lot really. And the dividends it pays is well worth it to me.

I want to tune these Carrera cars for our wood track using as much of the stock model as possible. Since the front axles/guide position in most of these need addressing for best performance, I went with the B-Nova/Slot.it combo. It allows you to set the front end height where you want it without sanding the chassis, and at the same time removes the free-play stock guides usually have.
Between this and a session on the razor to clean up the wheels and tires, this car is a outstanding runner.
With a fresh stock of these coming in, looks like it is tune up time for more in the flock.
