Well I spoke with tha gentleman that sent all of it to MIKE,tha motor is a FIREBOX??? not what I was looking for,but I did do some searching last night and found the one I was talking about,cranks 84,000 at 14 volts! BAD MOMMA! :lol: :lol:

if it is a fyrebox-1 start with the 6V artin wallwart, this supplies enough amps for that dude. also the 15ohm artin controller is best suited for controlling that motor.

forget about all carrera stuff with this motor, except track :)

I DONT KNOW THING ABOUT THIS MOTOR BUT WHEN IT HOOK UP TO A THE TRAIN TRANSFORMER I6 VOLTS IT IS ONE HOT MOTOR I COULD SEE SPARKS

Hey guys, sorry I didn't chime in earlier been really busy with end of semester stuff at college.

The motor Mike has came from Ranch Design, as specified by Pfuetze for his 3D printed chassis from Shapeways. Pfuetze created 2 chassis for me with wheelbases tailored to fit Legends of Racing bodies. I only did a few laps on my routed oval with this car and never even got around to cutting the axles down to size. I used Scalextric analogue transformers on my track rated at 16 volts AC and 800 milliamps. (I have a Scalextric terminal track mounted under my routed track with wires connecting it to the copper tape. The terminal track has diodes in it that convert AC power from the transformers to DC power for the cars.)

Mike - more SCX Compact cars and bodies are on the way. They should make good parts for your builds while your getting the custom stuff figured out.
