Maybe compare this braid cleaner/conditioner with green Vodoo juice? I have used Vodoo & works very good on the braids & in the motor too, always looking for something to make 'em run harder & faster!. Please keep us posted.

Ernie has made this stuff for years.

I have NO idea what it is made of. I think it is cured on Funkenwaggnals porch somewhere in New York.

He does not have a store, he just sells locally. I was lucky to have him send some when FrankfromNY came to visit. Since then he has "filled" me up from time to time.

The tire lube works great to restore/condition foam tires and work pretty well on older stock rubber to clean. Braid juice? Well, it works good. I have not seen and residue issues in the 4 or 5 years I have used it.

I have no idea how it compares to any other products. Sorry guys.

OK, guys, just to explain -- it's NOT tire "goop", and will not make your tires sticky (though they usually get nice traction after using the product).**
This product helps to keep foam rubber tires soft and clean. I usually put a few drops or a line across the tread surface of the rear tires and rub it in, or spin them up on the track surface, if that practice is allowed at the raceway you're running your cars on. I always ASK before doing that if it's my first time at a raceway. I know it's been used on home set rubber tires by some guys, too. And yes, of course, I've used it myself for years (since the early-mid 1970's), on commercial epoxy surface tracks and on home routed wood or plastic sectional tracks. I had a BIG four lane Revell setup at one time (back in the mid 1980's). It covered three 4x8' boards and there were no "chemical reaction" issues with the plastic track and either product.

**I do make my own tire traction "glue" when I need to use it (or have no choice in order to be competitive) -- 1/24 drag racing, "flexi-kars", ect. --
but I just plain don't like to race using that *#%! sticky stuff!

The Braid Cleaner and Conditioner is just that, and I DO NOT recommend using it on the comm as you can with the SLICK 7 "VooDoo" product. I use the SLICK 7 product myself, just for the comm drops application. I'm sure it's chemical make up is a little more refined and "high tech" than mine!
I've been concocting these mixes on the workbench for my own use, and have only started to make them available to others (outside of a small group of friends) over the past decade or so.
Also, I've never had a problem with any raceway owners (I was one myself) when using either product, and in fact sell it in the small bottles you see in Harry's picture to some of the local raceways for resale to their customers.

If my computer skills were on par with my slot car skills (yes, I am "digitally challenged"), I'd try to set up a website so people could "point and click" to get the product. I'm trying to get someone to help me with that, so maybe this will be the year! You can PM me for more info if you like. I'm over 50 years in the hobby, and I used to do mail order back in the days before the internet, ebay, ect.
