Only a couple of days until the new year.
What will be your first project for 2014 ?

I'm going to have a crack at the Tiny Lund Camaro.
I know nothing about it, it just looks cool. :D

Here is what I have been tuning on:



HRW Jim gave me the car already painted. I have been working on it off and on the last couple weeks.



My goal is to finish it in the next couple days.

I am tackling a repaint of one of the new Scaley Cougar "white" kits - hoping to come close to matching the car below... :D
I am still working on trying to match the font of the numbers - but at least the color scheme shouldn't be to rough to duplicate. :)

Anybody have a good suggestion as to what to use for the "mesh" over the grills?
(definitely can use some suggestions there!)

Harry, Is that the same stuff that Mark Thomas used to sell? His mesh was the first things that came to my mind, but it's not on his site anymore. I'm glad I bought a few strips of it, and just as glad that you posted that link. I'll be saving that for future reference!

Yes, it is basically the same stuff. Check any model railroad shops for that mesh. Those railroad guys make good stuff for us sometimes :)

Is that a coffee filter? I still make coffee by decanting an essence a pound of coffee at a time New Orleans style, and I never see any coffeemakers anymore.
