Is it just new paint on an old slot car or is there something new and up to date underneath the body?

New paint, but has newer NC-5 Speeder.

Which is what I am wanting for our series. Quick motor swap and a set of shoes.

Hmmm. I have a couple originals with the NC-1 and a more recent version with the NC-5. Frankly, I like the NC-1 powered car so I would rather have the older one, or swap the motor pod. Guess it depends on the price.
