Lancia Beta Turbo

Just been able to finish the Lancia for this years ProNoMag. There is handling problem left, some strange jumping out of the curve, but this should be possible to deal with till February. Gone with the decals that came with the Heller kit, no paint on the white body, details painted with paint brush and enamel colors. Motor came from ebay, a link from Lloyd, Ranch-Design plastic gears which have been lying around, some for wheels. Tires are some K&D that i found in the project box. Printed guide with silicone wires.
The car handles the Desmo quite well, best lap time out of 40 laps was a 9.514 :D

Real nice. It's low enough if it doesn't scrape the dust off the track it will certainly scare it away. :lol:

@Greg: i tried to printed wheels one time and designed them. Best thing - they are quite round. Worst thing - getting them placed right on the axle and stop them from spinning on the axles. They have to be glued on with CA glue to the Ranch-Design axles i´m using all the time. But it´s CA glue, so it settles fast and sometimes i can´t press on the wheels fast enough and than it´s glued on and not in the place where it should be, so pull it off again. Another try, this time it´s gone to far and the axle play is to tight and the axle doesn´t spin free anymore. Than i tried simply to turn them to the right place and the glued on rubber comes off again. It´s so nice working with the set screw wheels from Steve instead that i´m asking myself why do i even try this? Just realised - 7 spoke wheels in the front and 6 spokes and the rear LOL , did not see that while building the car...
