Slot It Lancia LC2 Martini upgrade

Postby ListerStormGT » Sun Jan 12, 2014 8:26 pm

I had been on the fence about this car since it came out. I loved the Martini livery but the stock wheels just killed it for me. So after the red one came out with the gold BBS wheels I decided to pick up this one up and a set of Slot It Porsche BBS inserts and change them out. Also changed out the rear tires to Yellow Dog urethane's 1403RY. Looks much better to me and drives great with the urethane's on my track.

Looks very nice Lee. What was it you didn't like about the stock wheels? Were they the black ones? :)

I just didn't care for the look of them on the car, it looked liked this.

Ahh, the magic of BIG BBS wheels ... That makes a great looking Group C car.

I see what you mean. Those gold ones just don't cut it. They might have looked better if the rear wheels had more depth. Slot It. did that on the Mazda's too. The Mazda's had very deep rear wheels. :)
