Nobody ever seems to talk about them, but they are some of Fly's all-time greatest, are the 917/10 Can Am/Interserie cars. There are many to choose from, and usually don't fetch outrageous prices (although the Jackie Oliver Gulf car does, sometimes). They normally don't need much more than tire truing, but I believe that your guys are no strangers to tuning. With good tuning, these cars are fantastic. You might want to extend the guide a bit, and if your track is bumpy at all, the shovel nose may scrape a little. It's been a while, but I think the chassis is a bit of a clamshell affair, so be aware of that -- some folks don't like dealing with that setup.
