Any body Converting the carrera pull speed cars?

I'm guessing these have been out for some time.I just bought one off of Bibbster and got her running.Cool cars.How many did they do?

They did several models, Rusty. Discontinued about 2 years ago. I bought up a huge bunch when they did but only a very few left on my website. They are easy and fun to convert. :D

The main issue concerning the Pull speed cars is that (I believe) all those were actually done as slot cars at some time, So if you went ahead and bought them when they first came out (as I did) there would be no need to convert. But, for those people who missed the original releases or would rather scratch build a chassis it's a good way to get a body. But, then the bodies themselves are made to do the loops so they are of limited appeal.

If the Pull speed bodies came out for cars that had not been slot cars before or some months prior to the release of the slot car they would be more attractive subjects for conversion.

Looks like yours is riding a little high in the front!?

Well A little High.Had trouble with the original tires rubbing.Had to use an O ring tire..Some of my expert building I guess..Still fun and fast .Also depends on the camera angle.

Well ahhhh errrr ummm I kinda wounded the original after a "couple" of failed attempts at lowering the car. Long story short I now have a spare #8 Total body. :lol:
