Back to an old friend

We have been missing running on this track.
It is where we started back in '09 (2009 smart alec).

Had some tape adhesion issues and the boys want it fixed. They are getting old and grumpy :whistle:



Peeled up the tape.....smoothed it down with latex leveler....will paint with latex paint,retape,mask off the tape and repaint the track.

I like the tape then paint because it kinda protects outside tape edges a little.

Us, too. Two gray tabbys with white markings. Eerie, ain't it?

I'll never forget the day the one who stays outside most of the time came in to visit me in the shop where the slot car track is. We played for half an hour, with her running all over the track, pouncing and jumping. When I picked up the car and turned everything off she actually looked like I hurt her feelings.

Ember, if you REALLY miss them then come on over. We have a platoon of them around here. Not sure why. I feed them a lot...maybe that is why?

Got a plethora of feral ones living next door H. It's the main reason why I haven't adopted any new ones since OJ died a few years ago. OJ short for Orange Juice, just so there is no confusion with any ex-footballers.

Good looking track and I actually remember that one.

My cat is curious about the slot cars, but typically runs when they get up to speed.
