Something is not right and it is most likely me however when I add the measurements up for the wheels base and the other two you supplied they do not add up to the over all length. This is for both the min and max configurations.

Alan, this chassis has been designed to accept the Go!motor or the SCX motor, along with the drive train.
It will take a RadioShack motor, too or any other FF030 motor.

The chassis looks awesome! Would you be able to modify the chassis so the guide blade sits deeper in the chassis? I would rather shim the guide with a washer so it is further away from the chassis (if needed), than to trim the chassis which could be a little more challenging to keep the material level where the guide sits against it.

Brian, the chassis is shown with 15mm wheels. Most Go!tires are bigger, the biggest ones being 20mm. If i shorten the guide holder, the guide will sit too high in the chassis. When shimmed, the guidiance gets more wobbly and i don´t like that. From the technical point of view it is not necessary to have the surface 100% level and the longer guide length helps to avoid wobble.
And there is a real ring with only thin walls on the under side, which should be easy to cut. You don´t have to really cut material and become it level, only removing a ring.
I will post a photo as soon as i get the first prototype to show what i mean.

New figures still do not add but but close enough. Still 1mm off but not an issue. These will get me in the ball bark!

If I would like the option rear mount just indicate then when I send you the measurements?

Based on the standard sized chassis it appears to be around $16.00 US. Will that be true for the chassis no matter what measurements are submitted to you?

okay, i forgot to update the overall measurement. now it should be okay.
If you like the rear mount, just add it to the measurements "including rear mount option"

for the price - it will change a little depending on the material used during printing, this is due to shapeways.
