Policars to reissue slot.It Ferrari F40

It was mentioned at electric dreams that Policars will be releasing shortly a Ferrari 312PB using slot.It running gear and most likely the body molds too. When I did a further search it also looks like the F40 will be coming back through Policars also. Slot.It F40s for sale are becoming very rare. Fortunately I snatched up four of them three years ago when they were still relatively plentiful.

I have no idea, I think it is just to bring back the Policar name that has so much historical appeal.

With Ferrari tied to Carrera in the slot car world, how exactly are they expecting to pull this off? Go the Fly route and release cars with Ferrari model numbers minus the prancing horse?

Very probably just lose the badge. But Patto does full sheets of 'sable stallion rampant' in varying sizes.

It wont be a "Ferrari F40" release, it will be a "F40" release and as embs said, minus the badge.

Hi Everybody,
I believe ( I think I remember from some where) that the Policar company is registered in a certain country (Germany?) and because of that they can get around certain licensing "issues" that couldn't be accomplished in the homeland (Italy).
Thank you certain smart thinking people cause we all get some more cool cars!

Just yesterday when we were running Slot.It Ferrari F40's around at DeBary Glen, I looked over at the other 2 guys that were running their Slot.It Ferrari F40's and said, "I now know why these are so good. They are simply the smoothest 1:32 slot car I have ever driven."

Please Policar, leave it as is. There ain't nothing broken, please do not attempt to fix it.

The front end looks to be a bit different, but with the latest chassis updates and fixed interior issues, I'm sure it will be awesome.

I guess I will be growing my stable of F40's again, especially if it's cheaper. Noticed it has the prancing stallion emblem.
