Bob - I like the design! I'd raise the entire back straight up starting before the corner on the far end and gradually bring it up to the bridge. Obviously you'd have to drop it a little faster on after the bridge.

I like elevation changes. I think you could put a small bleacher set in there and probably a nice little shoulder to park the cars. A few nice signs and it would look very nice for a raceway.

David, I thought about that too. I have the Carerra over pass track and that will be easier for me, but the track is not attached yet so........

Bob - the Carrera bridge will work, I just don't personally like the sudden changes in elevation and prefer it to be gradual. Let us know how the build goes.

Hi Bob,

I really like your layout. I have a fold up table in my shop too. Couple quick questions...

Your legs fold out for support when it's down - do you have some sort of 'lock' for when they are down? E.g. something to protect the table from collapsing if a leg were accidentally 'kicked' or something?

What kind of hinge setup do you have? I looked carefully at your pix but couldn't make it out. I simply used a piano hinge hidden from view in the back of mine.

I'm seeing a sliding lock on the sides of the table frame - that is to lock the table in place when in the upright position right?
