24 hours of Le Mans 2014 - watching

Typing this from my iPad watching the live feed on my TV from France.

I don't subscribe to Fox1 sports, only have an HD antenna for local channels and basic cable, but I do have wicked fast internet. Fox is only showing it for silly 7 hours and then coming back later?! WTH, its an endurance race, full 24h or nothing! So those that are in the same boat as me this is what I'm doing.

- iMac 24" late 2008 build in my office, projection room.
- Apple TV v2
- Sony 42" HD tv

Apple uses AirPlay for 2011 newer build iMacs (shares your screen to your TV, so brilliant). My iMac is an older 2008 build, so that means I have to use my wife's newer MacBook Pro and stream using AirPlay - she loves her MacBook and hard for me to let her give it up for 24hs... But wait there is an alternative for early build iMacs! Download Airparrot makes early build Macs and PCs stream to Apple TV. Or watch it on your computer.
