There is another way. One that will truly put you into the car that you build.
That would be building your own chassis. It is NOT hard, just bending some wire, soldering it to some pieces of brass. Hey, I learned how to do it on my own.
An example is that Hobblylinc is selling 20 pieces of .039 x 36 inch wire for $7.09. You can build about 20 1:32 chassis from that amount of wire. A couple of pieces of brass and you're off and running.
Right now I will guarantee you that the first time you build your own chassis, put the car on the track, squeeze the trigger on your controller and the car runs around the track just as you knew it would - well there is simply no better feeling of fulfillment that I have ever experienced.

When you have about $2.00 into a chassis, just think about how you can spend the other $23?
