Oh this reminds me so much of my old railroad buddy.

His railroad came through the utility room. There was a bridge, The Rube Goldberg Memorial Bridge, that spanned the washer / dryer as the mainline came through the wall and into the yard.

What a wonderful wife as she shared her utility room with him all the time.

Something that caught my eye was the type of credits used on the video above. You could see everyone that was part of the movie. The names just came on to the screen, stayed long enough to read them and then got changed. I miss that in today's movies.

Does Joe have a problem? Not at all.

Which is what you are supposed to do. We all know this to be fact.

But nowadays on all these "home improvement" shows they refer to it as a "open concept".

Seems like we are all owed a debt of gratitude for our years of decorating advice. :)

A couple of weekends ago, on the way back from the Buzzard Beach Open House, I mentioned to my dear wife about perhaps building a "portable" oval that can be stored in our garage and set up in the Family Room for racing with friends. A/C, Sports Package on the big screen and comfy chairs.

I was amazed at her answer . . . . . As long as it is moved out into the garage at the end of racing.

What a super wife she is.
