i don´t like guide pins, too. But on a dragster, i can live with them - only straight line, right? and with the long wheel base you got, you will never have a problem, the car will fall off the track before the guide looses contact. it simply saves much space. for an isolation plastic piece, 0.5mm are more than enough. But even a guide should be possible - hey it fitted under a H0 Ford GT40 :D :D

I remember the days very well when Sunday afternoons were filled with Topolinos, Anglias, Willys, Deuces, and T-buckets, roaring and getting squirrelly on a 1/4 mile. AA Fuel Altereds-- I miss them so much. Never did get the least bit interested in Funny Cars.

I had to widen the rear end, now is done, the front wheels are mounted, everything fits well.
