Does anyone recognize these cars?

[font=Courier New][size=100]Hi. I was into slot cars when I was a kid (Tyco Magnum 440s) and now I'm rediscovering the hobby with my kids. They're 6 and 4. I've started them on the Carrera Go! tracks and recently picked up a lot of cars that work on the track, but I don't know anything about the cars. They're definitely cheap - in price and construction - but they're good for the kids so far. Doeas anyone recognize this brand of car? Thanks.

Thanks. I have a bundle of these in various states of disrepair. They seem easy to fix and are a good choice for the kids. Do you have any advice for how/if can tune these with better tires, magnets and guide pins?

I also noticed that they don't work with the Carrera Go! track when plugged into an outlet, but they run fine when I switched the terminal track to a 4 D battery set up.

Under the forum pic you will see a link for Ranch Design. He has replacement Artin tires made of urethane which are much better than the stock tires you have now. As far as the Carrera track ??? I have a routed wood track and they run great on it. i know there have been a few on here that have converted them to a guide flag. you might check pfuetze on shapeways to see if he has a guide that will work. pins are good for drag racing.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into it. The tabs on the Carrera Go! track break easily but the track system has a good bit of variety and is easy to find. I think it's good for the kids right now. I'll keep tinkering with the power supply to get it right. I have some old Parma controllers I might hook up as well.

OL Mike - Thanks! I have minimum experience with wiring but I think I could pull that off with proper instruction. In the meantime, I'm running the Carrera Go! Battery terminal track. Do you think it would help to add another one (I have one)?

About half of these have the newer wider rims and tires that hook up better than the skinny ones.good price for a lot of new cars and parts!
