TGIF - Track visit time

Lot of great things happening in our hobby and it's keeping me on my toes. Working on a "secret" project so to speak, and later today I hope to spill the beans.

New releases coming pretty fast with all sorts of choices. From Cartrix to Scalextric, it is a tough time trying to figure out what to get first. Remember, lots of us like reading and seeing the photos of your latest car. Want to review it? Go right ahead. The more the merrier.

Few of you have asked about doing articles. If you want to have an article published here at HRW, just shoot me a PM or email. I will help you the best I can. Good content is what makes a site like ours what it is. The more we have, the better we can help others.

Razor Jon invited me up for a Saturday of slotting, so looking forward to the fun. Always nice to visit there and just have some fun.

I should have a visit from a big time collector to make a bid on my HO stuff tomorrow. I'll spend today unpacking and spreading it all out for him to see. It will take hours and hours, so I'm champing at the bit to get started. He may need a truck come to think of it- I should call and warn him.

Have fun at Jon's Harry. He is after all a celebrity. Not many of us ever get into magazines. Way to go Jon! Me, I'm still working on the Challenger. I just need to finish decaling it and clear coat. I now have the new Scaley Camaro torn apart, just waiting on my goodies from SCC. This car just begs to be tuned up, so I will do that. :)

I started a new semi scratch build today. It is a fiberglass 1/32 Maserati Tipo 61 Birdcage body that I have had laying around in a box for awhile. My Racer spoke wheels and tires arrived yesterday to go on her. I decided to build it as a front motor car on a shortened Monogram Grand Sport chassis.

Have a B-Day party to attend and going to watch my nephew play hockey on Sunday. Broncos Sunday night.

Hope to get the 1966 Chevelle into silicone, the Capri MKI back in the mix and the Corvair further along.

I plan on setting up the timing race for the Maverick proxy too!

Looks like I won't be going anywhere for awhile this weekend. Lucky for me I got restocked with Dum Dums, with some needed parts from SCC and some great looking bodies from RMS. Hopefully I'll find some time to paint and finish assembling my Ugly Slot Project.

Hahahahaha. I had sour apple yesterday. Blue raspberry the day before. I'm going to have to add a HRW donation to my next SCC order so I get more Dum Dums to tie me over.
