Been playing with this chassis today trying to get it to go. Though it's smooth as silk it deslots when powered quickly. Limitless bugger just pops up fast and it's done. I may hafta build another more conventional car. Drop arm on this one is really free so I wonder if weight on it would help?

As an added item to also consider, if you are looking to place a fuel tank up front similar to the car below - you could add some inconspicuous weight to the front of the car to minimize it's tendency to pop up?

Thankyou both...what I just did was tape the drop arm and added 13 grams to the chassis front...goofy thing is a missile! In the morning I'll try to get it worked out with the drop arm free...thanks again

Btw....I tested with 20mm tall silicones ...I'm still waiting on my urethanes

Are commercialy made rear ends allowed? ( rear motor box with the axle mounts made on them )

If you are referring to a factory made motor bracket like one of the ones below - those ARE completely acceptable: :handgestures-thumbup:





If you are talking the factory drag chassis components / assemblies like below - then no - those are not allowed.
Hopefully that clarifies things.

I agree...a motor bracket isn't a chassis and that's not made specifically for drags. There are some that are though,you probably can't use them.

Sorry about that - I meant to say "Yes" the standard motor brackets are allowed - what isn't allowed is the pre-made drag specific stuff similar to this: http://www.ncphobbies.com/jds-1/24-chas ... r/jds2013/
(that is a full drag chassis - but they also offer just the "back half" etc)
Hopefully that helps clarify things.
