If you have Goop, it can be peeled away if necessary and comes off cleanly.

Have fun with them, eh?

I sent Matt an email this morning, with chappy's message attached and a request that he get in touch with Bob. I do think at this point that he would say glue it back on.

Hey!
I was a bit of a zombie yesterday from travelling so a little late to respond....

So - I'm fine with any repair and glue.... I shattered that section with my dremel before the car left and tried to fix it up enough for the journey - I was trying to get the weight out of the rear.... Didn't work obviously.... Made a note to myself not to use the big router bit on bodies anymore.....

I can skip this round if the car is a holdup.... If it can be fixed - I very much appreciate the help!

I do have a new body that it an improved design - if there is no objection - I'd like to mail it - or replace it when the cars get to Allan's (If he is the next round(?). Basically it has better weight and the front mounting has a better fit... I should be far enough out of contention that I only want to go for looks now.... I'm ok with a penalty to replace it as well?
Anyone object to a body replacement?

Not me - I'd like to see the Shadow run up to it's full potential. Let's get that body swapped out.

Change body if you need ok with me. I watched the nascar race at Dover this past weekend and they did everything but pull the whole skin off those cars.
Besides we need to have $ in the field

Bob, since your time clock is running down, why not do a quick fix right away and run the round.

Matt can send the new body here and I will swap them when the cars arrive.

It will be a couple of weeks before I can run the race here anyway, as I will be out of town next week. I share a mailbox with my daughter and son-in-law anyway so they will pick up the mail when it arrives.

Cheers,

Keith

Thats a great idea Keith.
I will do the repair for this round and mail you the cars .
I am gone all of June so you making the swap works out fine.

Thanks for wringing them out, Chappy. Looks like I'm going to have a tough time getting a podium finish in this series. Quick car but too unstable in the corners.

It's a pleasure to be among such a fine field of cars.
