Fumey,
your car is very well ballanced and quick, you also had a rear tire that is twice the width of any other car. The tire also seemed hard in comparison to the other narrow tires. I assume by looking through the bottom of your chassis you have the H&R Jack Rabbit motor, it really has some revs. traction was the big issue, I think if you had a softer narrow tire that would have helped alot, but with the revs the motor has ( one of the things I need to think about for next time) that may have just made for more offs with the extra speed. As it stands at this track with these cars, if you had a soft tire, a mild motor, and a smooth running drivetrain, it was fast. "enough" This could very well be totally different at the next three tracks of wood. We`ll just have to see.
"The tire also seemed hard in comparison to the other narrow tires"
let me put that differently, your tire didn`t have as tall a sidewall as others, which gives the tire a little more of a soft feel on the track.
